Silver Kris Business Lounge, Terminal 3 (SIN)

Text and Photos by Arthur Jeciel

We arrived at Terminal 1 of Changi Airport just about two hours before our connecting flight to Perth and decided to go directly to the Silver Kris Lounge located inside the departure/transit area of Terminal 3. Interestingly, the flight schedule monitors were not showing the gate we were supposed to use, but the friendly staff at the information desk were kind enough to help us.

The Silver Kris Lounge is located on the third floor, North Wing of the Passenger Terminal Building 3.

Opening Hours

The lounge is open 24 hours.

Lounge Seating Area

First impression of this lounge: very chic with lots of space to relax and unwind, dine, watch the tv or just read some magazines.

With staffs always roaming around and clearing tables and making sure everything is okay, I felt like I was in a five star hotels restaurant. Singapore Airlines really makes sure they offer their premium passengers only the best lounge one could ask for.

Again, Apple computers on the work stations (on the first row) to keep you connected with your business contacts. Complimentary Wifi is available.

Of course, there's a variety of newspapers and magazines to keep yourself updated on news and developments around the globe.

There's a lot to choose from the self service buffet and bar counters.

With not so many flights leaving that time of the day, it became a very quiet evening inside the lounge.

Toilet and Shower Room

This is probably one of the most impressive lounge toilets we have seen. Very clean and the amenities like shavers and shaving creams, toothbrush and toothpaste were all available.

The shower room is just as good, with towels already available.

Singapore Airlines never disappoints me. I have visited a lot of lounges in the past and I would say that this one is probably the best, maybe just next to Qatar Airways Business Class Lounge at the Premium Terminal in Doha. For all those business class passengers leaving Changi Airport, make sure you fly with Singapore Airlines to experience the best service and great facilities even before you take your flight!
