Award travel, Business Class flight #15

Our flight was half hour delayed so we had to wait for another 30 minutes in the lounge. I guess economy passengers didin't enjoy that delay that much so this was actually one of those times I treasure flying in business class.
My boarding pass...
The business class cabin has a 2-2 configuration, with a total of 14 seats pretty much like the one we flew with from Montreal. Just like the flight from Montreal, the flight to Los Angeles was also full.
The coat hook is pretty standard...
For those businessmen who get annoyed hanging their coats in front of their seats, the small wardrobe located in front of the cabin is a great option.
A small table in case you need more space for your drinks and snacks...
Some power ports as well...
Great snacks after take-off, which by the way are available at all times throughout the flight.
Mesclun salad with black quinoa, zucchini and sun-dried tomato served with balsamic olive oil dressing
Seared Cajun-spiced Atlantic salmon with pineapple and pepper salsa, pilaf rice, yellow carrot, red pepper and green bean mix
Each meal is served with a selection of warm breads and butter. The other choices for the main course were:
Butter chicken served with rice, spinach and chick-peas
Cheese and spinach cannelloni, cramy tomato sauce and spinach ricotta
Beef tenderloin with Port wine and mushroom sauce, sour cream and chive potatoes au gratin, maple-glazed carrots and broccoli
Oatmeal raisin cookie baked fresh on board served with gourmet vanilla ice cream.
Pretty basic screen...
and earphones. Sorry if I took the picture together with the menu card...
Toilet and Lavatory
The lavatory was always kept clean which is always appreciated.
Arrival in Los Angeles
We arrived at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) around a quarter past nine in the evening and I was really impressed as to how quick the collection of baggages went...very smoothly. In no time at all, I was already enjoying my first night in the US.
I was really impressed with the great service we got from the crew of Air Canada that night. We were always asked if we wanted something else or if everything was ok. The food tasted excellent specially my salmon. I guess the delayed didn't really matter at all. Thanks Air Canada! Hope to fly again with you soon!
